Scrapping Class
Yippe! :) I may get the opportunity to teach a scrapbooking class this summer as part of a summer camp. It sounds like a great opportunity and may possibly be the thing I need to jumpstart my papercrafting resume! :) I am really excited about it...hopefully it will pay too! I need to get ideas going for what techniques to cover each day! Some sketches maybe and some pre-done cuts. How exciting!!!
Gift From God
Cards! :)
So I had the sketches in front of me..and this is what came out...lots of card. I am a "bulk card maker" per say, so when I use a piece of 12x12 patterned paper, if I have time, I use it as far as it will go. In this case, for 6 cards. These cards are the prepackaged white ones w/envies, but I decorated them. They are 5x6.5.
I made two frog ones that are just alike, and plan on putting something like "Have a 'Toad-ally' Awesome Birthday" or "Have an 'Un-FROG-ettable' Day" inside them, the the shape is pop-dotted so it is 3-d. I got the stamp last year when the company (*Mer can't remember the name now..) went out of business and sold grab bags of stamps cheap....same with the ladybug stamp.
I love the CRIMPER I just bought. I used it on some of the flowers and on the leaves. It gives a nice 3-D effect. I esp. love the leaves, how the background is patterned and crimped and the outline is not. So cool. Glad I bought it, and it is much faster than dragging out the cuttlebug/folders when you just want some fast dimension.
I used AUTO FILL on my E when I cut the scallops, flowers and other shapes, used what I wanted and then put the extras in ziploc baggies to save for later. I will be getting a plastic type shoe box for this purpose soon, and will cut file folder dividers from GRAPHICALLY SPEAKING (Cricut Cartridge).
I love black/white/red or pink combos, yesterday was a red combo. I esp. love the circle stamps that are pretty new to me. Needed grad cards and these worked nicely. THanks for looking! :) Love reading your comments!

New Layouts! :)
**Sorry these are huge, but I am too tired to figure out why or how to fix it...so just click the picture if you want to see the whole thing. SOrry!
Okay, these are the layouts I did since Saturday. In case you haven't noticed, I have issue with weeding out pictures (even though I DID weed through them). I just think they are all so cute, and Jonas has so many sweet expressions, so needless to say, I am a "heavy picture scrapper" meaning I use lots of pics on layouts. Here are some of my favs from the past few days (YES THERE ARE MORE I DIDN'T PHOTOGRAPH!!) :) Thanks for looking...Don't you think JonasBug is sooooo cute?!?!?! :)

WOWZERS!
So my blog counter passed 1,000 today! :) How exciting to think that my blog has been looked at 1,000 times! :) People probably only stayed for a second, but none the less it makes me want to blog more! :) I finished doing "Jonas" layouts for the pics that I've already printed, so I guess my house will stay somewhat cleaner w/out scrapping stuff on the dining room table until I get back over to Wolf Camera (on a Tues/Wed of course, I'm a bargain hunting kind of girl--get a thrill out of a great deal!) Six cents per picture is the only way I can afford my luxury of scrapping! :) I finished Mother's Day and Baby Dedication pages, think I'll go take pics now so that you can enjoy! Goodnight for now, hopefully be back soon with more pics to post...if not, until tomorrow!

Hmmmm...
So I am wondering how people figure out how to use HTML and design things like blog backgrounds, headers, and things. I am pretty computer savvy when it comes to word processing and I have had some really good copy and paste luck, but how in the world do you learn...where do they teach this? I wish I could get web design 101 class or something. Any suggestions on how to learn or where to look?

:) Scrapbook Day
Well I was able to scrapbook some yesterday since Jo-Ma is here to help with my little man. Had to keep stopping since Jonas had a tummy ache, but got about 11 pages done before the day was done. Can't wait to get back to it this morning!! I am already 2 months behind, but at least I have finished Jonas' hospital pages. I'll try to post later today.
